Apart from bottled gas for cooking, hot water, and central heating the house is virtually self sufficient; vegetables from the garden are available nearly all year round.

Set in a natural park with stunning views and a sense of peace and tranquillity; belled goats, sheep, cows and pigs roam freely, Las Cabrerizas will remain a haven, protected from future development and yet is only a few minutes from the main road and beaches. Facinas is a traditional Spanish pueblo blanco with tapas bars, restaurants, market, pharmacy and bank. The beaches of Valdevaqueros and Punta Paloma are within 10 minutes drive and the town of Tarifa and Roman ruins of Bolonia are less than 20 minutes drive. Gibraltar and Jerez (both served by low cost airlines) and Cadiz are within a one and a quarter-hours drive.
